Starburst in a contained area... it should have killed them but deep in the Uncharted Territories Bialar Crais and the hybrid Leviathan Talyn survive. Just.
On the Other Side is a fanfic that has existed in one form or another for over five years, ever since I saw Farscape's Wolf in Sheep's Clothing and Crais' fiery exit from the show.
The basic premise is that Crais survived his insane plan after all. Which is possible; the writers were particularly vague about what really happened. All we know is that a single fin of Talyn was found (a fact I actually ignore in the story) and no one ever really dies in sci fi...
Anyway, Crais is found by a renegade Peacekeeper Tech called Ellandra Skye (my ofc). He is badly injured. She saves his life and, after he recovers somewhat, they form a prickly partnership in an attempt to restore Talyn.
When Ella's spaceship is fatally damaged in a pirate raid, she is forced to flee and join Crais on Talyn. The Leviathan then manages to Starburst, though it is wild and uncontrolled. When they emerge on the other side, Crais is unable to figure out where they are... and so the adventure begins.
